Wollemi National Park - Mountain Lagoon Road. 11th May 2013

'Plan A' was to go along the Burralow Fire Trail from Kurrajong Heights, but a closed National Parks gate put a stop to that.
I didn't want to go too far along Bell's Line Of Road as I had only done this stretch a couple of times recently, so now I needed a 'plan B'. Mountain Lagoon Road across to Wheeney Creek I thought might be productive but it didn't work out that way. A lot in flower but only a couple of species, confirming once again that there hasn't been a lot of variety to keep things interesting at this time of year. A bit of disappointing day.
Next week I will have to find somewhere a little different and hope for more new and varied flora.
